3m octagonal umbrella hire is our primary hire option and a popular choice for weddings, styled outdoor events and smaller intimate gatherings. The eight-sided canopy gives it a slightly softer silhouette than a square umbrella, and at 3 metres across it provides shade for up to 10 people standing.
Same construction as our 3m square: aluminium frame, white weather-resistant fabric canopy, engineer-certified for wind loading. It sits on a steel base plate secured with 15kg stackable steel weights on hard surfaces, or pegged directly into grass where underground services allow.
The octagonal profile is a common aesthetic choice at events where the look matters as much as the function. It works particularly well in groups – a row of octagonal umbrellas over a long outdoor dining table, or clustered across a lawn for a garden party, reads differently to the more structured grid of square umbrellas.
